Ruwenzori Sculpture

Later in 2005, foundryman Ken Cook, together with trustees Claude Koenig and Rungwe Kingdon, and technical help from Pangolin craftsman Ian Brown, ran a practical-based workshop casting fully 3-dimensional hollow bronzes with associated techniques of joining and filling metal parts. As a result of these events several Ugandan artists are continuing to cast sculpture on their own and sculptor Ronnie Mpindi has been invited to run a workshop in Mauritius.
